On Sunday morning when I was reading my script that nanny Errol gave me I was a bit nervous
because I didn’t want a little reading. I was even nervouser because I even had to do a korero in front of the Nannies, Koros, aunties, uncles and cousins. I have never koreroed with my culture before. I said a prayer to God and God told me, "Jacqui-Helen you can do this!" so I practiced and said a prayer which made me feel comfortable. And what God did for us as his children he gave us love, food, water, and land and most importantly a family. God also gave us love and respect. So you should love him and respect him. We are God’s mokos and we will always be his mokos.
Nanny Errol gave me Psalm 67 to read and this is my story about Psalm 67.
God wants us to tell others about Him but He knows that we cannot do this on our own. We need to pray that God will bless us and our world. God wants the whole world know about Him The reason why we need to do all of this is so that God gets more glory. Our God is almighty, worthy and we can trust Him. It should be our goal as God’s children to tell everyone about Him so they can Praise him too.
Amen.
Jacqui-Helen (JJ)
